welcome back. today we’ll set up a new project for rescue

If you have gone through that and you are still here, then you must know:
- Why you want to make a game.
- What kind of game you want to make
- What genre you will use
- Who your characters will be and what style the game will be
- And you have decided to use Unity 3d
welcome back to the step-by-step roadmap for the making of rescue in 2025

first we will quickly go through setting up a new project in unity 3d using urp
It has been decided that Rescue will use Synty low poly assets. Synty polygon assets work well with Unity 6 URP.
So, let’s get started.

If you are one of the FEW individuals who have not seen one of the 10’s of 1000’s tutorials out there that tell you how to start a project in Unity 3D, I’ll cover it quickly. If you’ve seen this 1000 times – feel free to skip to the next section: Setting up URP.

Go to Unity and download Unity. Easy as 1 2 3! Unity Real-Time Development Platform | 3D, 2D, VR & AR Engine

Unity Hub | set up a new project
- Open Unity Hub
- Go to the “Projects” tab
- Create a new project
- Choose a name (its generally recommended that you don’t use spaces or special characters or underscores)
- Select a folder
- Decide whether or not you want to use Unity Cloud and/or version control
- **** choose your desired template | Rescue will use URP Core
Inside Unity editor | initial decisions & setup

When the Unity Editor starts up, there are few steps you should take to ensure everything is ready to go!
- You may want to delete the read-me files
- Open your package manager and delete Unity packages you will not use, add the ones you need
- Go to Edit > Preferences > External > Make sure the code editor you wish to use is selected
- Go to Edit > Project Settings> Graphics Tab & ensure URP is selected
